Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) debuted three new rifle chassis at SHOT Show this year. Each is purpose-built and of the highest quality.
MDT Introduces Three New Rifle Chassis
1-- HNT26
Buy MDT Parts online debuted the HNT26, a lightweight bolt-action hunting chassis, this year. The moniker HNT26 is derived from the chassis's purpose (hunting) and weight (26 ounces). The primary body is magnesium alloy, which accounts for the surprisingly small chassis weight. The carbon fibre or rubberized furniture includes a buttstock with an adjustable LOP recoil pad, cheek riser, a foregrip with MLOK and an incorporated ARCA rail.
The HNT26 will have a fixed or folding buttstock, as well as a vertical or swept-back pistol grip, but if you don't like either, the HNT26 will accommodate the most common AR-15 grips.
The chassis is compatible with Remington 700, Savage, and Tikka T3's short and long actions.
2-- THE TMBR CHASSIS
The laminate wood stock used in the TMBR chassis was designed to create a classic wood stock's "warm and unique looks." Despite this, it includes all of the characteristics of a modern chassis. The buttstock, once again, has a fully adjustable LOP and cheek riser, vertical or swept-back grips, and an aluminium block bedding system that runs through the grip and into the buttstock.
The TMBR, like the HNT26, works with Remington 700, Savage, and Tikka T3 actions. For the time being, it is only compatible with brief actions. MDT aims to eventually make the TMBR compatible with both short and long actions, but this will be in the future.
MDT expects the TMBR to be available in the market within the next few months.
3-- CHASSIS ACC GEN2
This prototype, which is more of a working title than a name, will not be available for purchase anytime soon. ACC is an abbreviation for Adjustable Core Competition. Gen2 retains several characteristics as Gen1, including the MDT's integrated modular weight system. The ACC chassis makes it simple for competitive precision shooters to fine-tune the weight of their rifle to account for recoil and barrel harmonics.
The buttstock has a fully adjustable LOP and cheek riser with all MDT chassis systems. The ACC Gen2, on the other hand, has a tool-less adjustment system for the LOP and cheek riser, which can be set in the field or at the range with nothing but your hands.
