Here is Everything to Know About MDT New Rifle Chassis and Comp Brake

MDT Introduces Three New Rifle Chassis

1-- HNT26

MDT debuted the HNT26, a lightweight bolt-action hunting chassis, this year. The moniker HNT26 is derived from the chassis's purpose (hunting) and weight (26 ounces). The primary body is magnesium alloy, which accounts for the surprisingly small chassis weight. The carbon fibre or rubberized furniture includes a buttstock with an adjustable LOP recoil pad, cheek riser, a foregrip with MLOK and an incorporated ARCA rail from MDT in Canada.

The chassis is compatible with Remington 700, Savage, and Tikka T3's short and long actions.

2-- THE TMBR CHASSIS

The laminate wood stock used in the TMBR chassis was designed to create a classic wood stock's "warm and unique looks." Despite this from MDT in Canada, it includes all of the characteristics of a modern chassis. The buttstock, once again, has a fully adjustable LOP and cheek riser, vertical or swept-back grips, and an aluminium block bedding system that runs through the grip and into the buttstock.

MDT expects the TMBR to be available in the market within the next few months.

3-- CHASSIS ACC GEN2

This prototype from MDT parts online in Canada, which is more of a working title than a name, will not be available for purchase anytime soon. ACC is an abbreviation for Adjustable Core Competition. Gen2 retains several characteristics as Gen1, including the MDT's integrated modular weight system. The ACC chassis makes it simple for competitive precision shooters to fine-tune the weight of their rifle to account for recoil and barrel harmonics.
